We're Melting

What a summer. It just won't quit.

The little darlin'

Sweepin' on her widdle foot ;-).

Uh oh, she's listing.

And down she goes!

"I'm awake.  You wanna see me eat a watermelon?"

I'm not sure this is going to work.  In case it doesn't embed correctly, it was originally posted to my Instagram account and then to Facebook.  Here is a link that might work.

Same here, 90 degrees and humid today. Watermelon sounds like the perfect food.
I hope the chicken got some scraps after all.

We are expecting snow in Glacier! Wish summer stuck around a little longer.

I think this year's Christmas card needs to acknowledge your sweltering summer somehow. All the animals doin' a "snow dance"? Burning an effigy of the sun?

Crazy variances in weather- too hot in Kentucky and too wet in Minnesota, too hot and dry in Ontario and *ahem* just perfect in Creston B.C.
A round of chilled watermelon for the sheep!

I have been feeding our chickens frozen watermelon chunks in the insane heat, they love them but this video is priceless. Do you buy watermelon by the pallet:)

It has been so hot here in Kentucky. I am ready for a cool down and I know all of you are too!

My horses always loved watermelon, and would eat it sounding just like that only magnified with bigger chomping noises, and then they'd eat the green bit too. :D

Yeah, if someone stuck me in an aran weight jumper, I'd be melting too. And delighted with a half of watermelon! Gustatory delight!

We've had about 10 days of very high humidity and sticky temperatures - the hottest it's been all summer here. I feel like your sheep look!
