For Anyone Who Is As Stressed Out About Christmas As I Am

No stocking hung by the chimney with care?  Shopping not even started? No greeting cards in the mail?  Guess what - I haven't even painted ours yet :-o.  But I've at least got the sketch done.  At this point, it's a small victory, but I'll take it.

The remodel...what a terrible time of the year to be stuck in the middle of this mess.  I'm sure (I keep telling myself) that it will all be worth it in the end, but when I realized over Thanksgiving that the chances of it being done before Christmas were looking slim...

I have scheduled the carpet installation for the 18th.  I hope the living room is done by then. Regardless, my beloved Christmas decorations are coming up from the basement.  'Nuff said.

Here is a sneak peek of the 2016 2015 Christmas card.  And yes, that is Graham dressed up like a big fat donkey :-D.

Updated: HAHAHAHA good catch by Linda on this is the 2015 card, not 2016, although if it was, I'd be so far ahead of the game that it would be scary...and never going to happen ;-D.

I believe I have all the calendar orders caught up.  Thank you thank you thank you!!!  If nothing else is going right, at least the barn loft is full of hay and straw and the sheep and horses and chickens (yet another story to share) are happy.  That's a huge relief.

If you've emailed me and I haven't responded to you, email me again.  If the embedded email link doesn't work, click on the "view my complete profile" over on the upper right corner and it will take you to a 'for sure' working link.

There are still a few Equinox Farm and Lamb Camp calendars left.  We have plenty of Lamb Camp yarn available.  And there is still plenty of time to send Christmas cards...just running short on time to paint and print them...but it will all work out.  At least I know a good printer who is happy to is used to doing rush jobs for me :-).

I love arty progress shots! Don't let the remodel worry you. Christmas is nice and all, but it doesn't have to be a certain way to be a wonderful Christmas. This one might be the most lovely, funny, memorable one ever!

My calendar and cards arrived very quickly and I do love all the photos. I look forward to this years cards and theme. Renovations always take more time than one expects so hope you can build your Christmas around that as well as possible. You will begin the New Year with a beautiful "new" home. Thank you for finding the time to keep us updated.

What an ungrateful wench! I said the calendars arrived but didn't say how much I liked them!!! Always in a hurry.......but you know sometimes our Christmas gifts get sent in or arrive in FEBRUARY and we (our crazy family) are always happy to get them!
I was excited to hear that you have a loft full of hay....Whoo Hoo
PS I really love the calendars :)

Take a deep breath and relax. Christmas doesn't depend on cards or ornaments- or even snow (which is a good thing for Savannah). It depends on an event that happened around 2000-ish years ago (probably in the springtime, when other lambs are born).
