A River Runs Through It

This is the first time the sheep have been out in at least two days.  I say "at least" like I don't know for sure, because at this point I really don't remember the last time I saw them out.  It feels like it's been raining forever.  Even Hickory's given up at this point and taken to the barn!

The word is UGLY! In the teens here with freezing rain on the way...then up to 42 and rain tomorrow. Yuck. Is Saint Tim in the area?

Thank God for Wellies!

Sounds like Kentucky and Oregon are on the same weather channel! We're supposed to be drying out and getting cold the rest of this week, though. My arena will probably turn to concrete; at least I got in a ride today.

It is the same here in central Indiana. I feel like we need to build an ark! (I still prefer this to snow, though!)

Being from a cold winter climate, I sure appreciate seeing your green scenery at this time of the year. However I don't think I envy the wet rains especially with having the animals. I'll stick with snow.

I wish we could send this rain to shepherdess Nan Bray of White Gum Wool in Tasmania. It's so parched there she is planning, sadly, to sell a vast portion of her flock of ethically-raised Merinos.

this weather is really odd and unpleasant. I've been wishing for snow and so far I've got sleet! Well at least there's that. We haven't as much rain as you have but we still need it here.

I can't imagine :-(. We had a drought (but nothing like they are going through) one year and we all agreed that we will never really complain about mud ever again.

Ditto to sophy75, WGW lands are so parched :( Hot as Hades in AU with fires and we have lots of snow and 9 deg on Wed night they say. stay dry. Happy New Year.

The sogginess here in Kentucky has been tiresome, but could be worse. Hope you all are drying out.

Random, but I love how tidy your fences look! :)

Happy New Year! :)
