The answer is yes ...it is the classic farm tape.
Thought of you yesterday as I was trying to be wooly enough to make our terrier a sweater ... as posted it didn't turn out perfect ...fun though.

Very good focus with camera. The pictures are crystal clear.

I kinda feel like swaying to a little Bob Marley right now.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it is!

What kind of sheep is that with the curly top?

That's Rebecca Boone, a colored Cotswold. If you search her "label" there are all sorts of funny pictures of her. She's quite a character!

Once I was out riding with my Uncle Marcus, and my saddle girth broke, and I slowly slid sideways down my horse's side. Uncle Marcus jumped off, reached in his overalls pocket... pulled out some baling twine, repaired the girth, and off we went on our merry way!

Is there any other type of tie? ;)

You certainly have to do SOMETHING with it....it multiplies when you aren't looking!

I love the first 3 pictures - Rebecca Boone looks like she's looking at the chicken, then the camera, and then back at the chicken like, "Seriously? Is the chicken allowed to be there?"

We concluded long ago that baling twine & kudzu are related. They both seem to sprout up & grow everywhere in the blink of an eye.

I'm weaving a rug with it (warped vertically on a baker's rack). There's an endless supply of weft!

BTW, the Bob Marley comment was perfect ...cracked me up. Rebecca Boone really does need background music.

Baling twine is farmer's duct tape, of course duct tape is also farmer's duct tape.

Vehicle bumpers, fences, hose hangers, twine fixes it all. Warts, nope wait that is duct tape again.

Yep- everything around here is held together with baling twine!

Love the dreadlocks on Rebecca, and the chicken is very pretty.

So.......which sheep was using the gate ties as sheep floss? Graham or Rebecca Boone?

I dont like greens between my teeth either. ;-)

Nothing like a good staredown between a chicken and a sheep. Rebecca's rockin' the dreds!
